Email is the way to reach us about the website or the apps: questions, problems, corrections, and privacy or account requests.
It helps to tell us where you were (the website, the Android app or the iPhone app) and, if your message is about a passage, which chapter.
Delete your account
An account is optional, and one account covers fresh.bible, nocap.bible and the apps. Deleting it removes it everywhere. It cannot be undone. Signing in again later creates a new, empty account.
- On the website: sign in, open Delete your account, and use the Delete my account button there.
- In the fresh.bible Android app: while signed in, go to Settings → ACCOUNT → Delete account, and confirm.
- In the fresh.bible iPhone app: while signed in, go to Settings → ACCOUNT → Delete account, and confirm. If the account uses Sign in with Apple, Apple asks you to confirm too, and the app's Sign in with Apple authorization is revoked before the account is deleted.
- By email: if you can't sign in, email us from the address on the account, with the subject “Delete my account”. We delete the account within 30 days and reply when it is done.
What deletion removes
- The account itself: your email address, your sign-in identity and any active sessions.
- The reading data saved to the account on our servers: reading progress and history, bookmarks, reading streaks, reading-plan progress and journal entries, reactions, achievements, interests, and questions you submitted through Ask.
- The newsletter and reading-plan email subscription for that address, and its send history.
- Deleting with the button on the website also clears what the account left in that browser. Deleting in the Android or iPhone app also removes the reading data saved to that account on that phone.
A few records are kept, such as crash reports already sent. The delete-account page lists them.
