The Long Lives Before the Flood

Genesis traces a genealogy from Adam through Seth's line all the way to Noah. People live extraordinarily long lives — Adam to 930, Methuselah to 969. Tucked into the list is Enoch, who 'walked with God and was no more, because God took him' — one of only two people in Scripture who never died.
