Nebuchadnezzar's Humiliation and Restoration

Despite Daniel's warning, Nebuchadnezzar boasts about his own greatness. Immediately, he loses his sanity and lives in the wild like an animal for seven years — eating grass, his hair growing like feathers, his nails like claws. When the time is up and he looks to heaven, his reason returns, and he praises the God of Israel as the true sovereign.
