The Temple in Jerusalem — the physical dwelling place of God's presence among Israel
Refers to the Temple in Jerusalem, first built by Solomon and rebuilt after the exile. Considered the place where heaven and earth overlapped — where God's glory dwelt among His people. Jesus called it 'my Father's house' (John 2:16).
