Janai

Janai was a leader of the tribe of Gad who settled in the region of Bashan, east of the Jordan River. He is listed among the chief men of Gad in the genealogy recorded in 1 Chronicles 5:12. Little else is known about him beyond his place in the tribal leadership of Gad during their settlement in the Transjordan.
