Abraham's son through Keturah — sent east with gifts

About

Zimran was the firstborn son of Abraham and Keturah, Abraham's wife after Sarah's death. He appears in the genealogies of Genesis 25:2 and 1 Chronicles 1:32, listed among the sons Abraham sent eastward with gifts during his lifetime. Little else is recorded of him, but his lineage traces the spread of Abraham's descendants beyond the line of Isaac.
