A Dead Sea shoreline town where Ezekiel saw fishermen casting nets in his vision of the healed waters
Judean DesertEneglaim ("spring of the two calves") was a Dead Sea shoreline location named in Ezekiel's great vision of the healed waters that would flow from the temple in the latter days: "And it shall come to pass, that the fishers shall stand upon it from En-gedi even unto En-eglaim; they shall be a place to spread forth nets" (Ezekiel 47:10). The prophet sees a river of life flowing from the temple, sweetening the Dead Sea and making it teem with fish — En-gedi and Eneglaim marking the northern and southern boundaries of the great fishing ground. The site is identified with Ain Feshkha on the northwest Dead Sea shore.
