The mother of seven has collapsed. She can barely breathe. Her sun went down while it was still daytime. She is shamed and broken. And the rest of them I will hand over to the sword before their enemies."

I will rescue you from the hand of the wicked. I will redeem you from the grasp of the ruthless."

There's no sugarcoating here. God didn't to remove the opposition. He didn't say the people would stop hating Jeremiah. He said: they will fight you. They will come at you. But they will not win. Because I'm with you.
