First Light at an Empty Tomb 🪨

It was barely dawn on the first day of the week — the was finally over — and two women headed to the tomb. and the other . Not the . Not . Two women, walking toward a grave to grieve.

They never got the chance.

The ground shook. An Angel of the Lord came down from Heaven, walked right up to the stone, rolled it aside, and sat on it. His face was like lightning. His clothes were white as snow. The Roman guards — trained soldiers — collapsed in terror and went stiff as corpses.

The irony is almost too perfect. The guards were posted there to keep a dead man inside the tomb. Instead, they ended up looking like the dead ones, and the dead man was gone.

Then the angel spoke to the women:

"Don't be afraid. I know you're looking for Jesus, the one who was crucified. He's not here. He has risen, just like he said he would. Come — look at the place where he was lying. Then go, quickly, and tell his disciples: he has risen from the dead, and he's going ahead of you to Galilee. You'll see him there. I've told you everything you need to know."

Notice who got the news first. Not the religious leaders. Not the inner circle. Two women — in a culture where women's testimony wasn't even admissible in court. God chose the people the world would have dismissed to carry the most important announcement in human history.

Running With Fear and Joy 🏃‍♀️

What happened next is one of the most emotionally honest moments in all of . The women left the tomb feeling two things at once — fear and overwhelming . They ran. Not walked. Ran.

"Greetings!"

When the truth threatens your position, you don't need a good lie. You just need one people are willing to repeat. That dynamic hasn't changed in two thousand years.

The Final Words That Launched Everything 🌍
