That first one alone — "keep your tongue from " — in an age of comment sections, group chats, and saying things behind screens you'd never say face to face? That's a full-time . Read that last line again. "The Lord is near to the brokenhearted." Not near to the people who have it all together. Not near to the ones who are performing strength. Near to the broken ones. If you're in the hardest season of your life right now — the kind where you're not even sure you can put a into words — this verse says God moved closer. Not farther away. Closer. He isn't watching from a distance, waiting for you to pull yourself together. He's right there in the middle of it with you.

"Many are the troubles of the ." He didn't say "few." He said "many." Doing the right thing doesn't insulate you from pain. But here's the turn — "the Lord delivers them from every one." Not prevents them. Delivers them through. That's an important distinction. The promise isn't a pain-free life. The promise is that nothing you walk through will be the final chapter.
