Every command targets the people at the bottom — the weak, the fatherless, the afflicted. God's one question: what did you do for the people who had no one else?

Your Title Won't Save You 🌑

The psalmist describes what went wrong:

They have neither knowledge nor understanding. They walk about in darkness — and all the foundations of the earth are shaken.

When leaders lose their moral compass, the ground shakes under everyone. The foundations don't hold.

Then God speaks again:

"I called you gods — sons of the Most High, all of you.

But you will die like any other mortal. You will fall like every other ruler."

They'd been given an extraordinary title — "Sons of the " — mirroring God's own on . They wasted it. You are not above the consequences of what you failed to do.
