Jesus frees a man tormented by a legion of demons, sending them into a herd of pigs.
In the region of the Gerasenes, Jesus encounters a man so tormented by demons that he lives among the tombs, breaking every chain used to restrain him. The demons identify themselves as 'Legion' and beg Jesus to send them into a nearby herd of pigs. He does, and the pigs rush into the sea. The townspeople find the man sitting calmly, clothed and in his right mind.
Jesus comes down from the mountain and immediately starts backing up everything he just said — with action. Lepers healed, storms silenced, demons cast out. And every single encounter reveals something about who he actually is.
MarkThe Day Nobody Could Look AwayThree stories collide in one chapter — a man possessed by a legion of demons, a woman who spent everything she had on doctors, and a father watching his daughter die. Each one came to Jesus with nothing left. Each one left completely different.
LukeSeeds, Storms, and the Power Nobody ExpectedJesus tells a story about four kinds of soil, then demonstrates exactly what his authority looks like — silencing a storm, liberating a man from a legion of demons, healing a woman twelve years of doctors couldn't help, and raising a child from the dead. The thread connecting all of it is how people respond to power they didn't expect and aren't sure they want.
