A synagogue leader's daughter dies, but Jesus takes her hand and brings her back to life.
Jairus, a synagogue leader, begs Jesus to come heal his dying daughter. On the way, Jesus is delayed when a woman touches his cloak and is healed. Messengers arrive saying the girl has died, but Jesus tells Jairus, 'Don't be afraid — just believe.' He enters the room, takes the girl's hand, and says, 'Little girl, get up.' She stands and walks around.
Jesus heals a paralyzed man, recruits a tax collector, raises a dead girl, opens blind eyes, and then looks at the crowds and feels something that changes everything. Matthew 9 is a chapter that won't slow down — and neither will Jesus.
MarkThe Day Nobody Could Look AwayThree stories collide in one chapter — a man possessed by a legion of demons, a woman who spent everything she had on doctors, and a father watching his daughter die. Each one came to Jesus with nothing left. Each one left completely different.
LukeSeeds, Storms, and the Power Nobody ExpectedJesus tells a story about four kinds of soil, then demonstrates exactly what his authority looks like — silencing a storm, liberating a man from a legion of demons, healing a woman twelve years of doctors couldn't help, and raising a child from the dead. The thread connecting all of it is how people respond to power they didn't expect and aren't sure they want.
