Foreign scholars travel a vast distance to honor a newborn king, guided by nothing but a star.
Magi from the east arrive in Jerusalem asking where the king of the Jews has been born — they've been following his star. Their question terrifies King Herod, who secretly meets with them to learn when the star appeared. The chief priests and scribes point to Bethlehem based on the prophet Micah's ancient prediction. The wise men follow the star to the house where they find the child, and they worship him with gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh.
