A king of Judah who started well but got arrogant and lost badly
Reigned in Judah and did what was right 'but not with a whole heart' (2 Chronicles 25:2). He won a victory over Edom, then made the bizarre decision to bring back Edomite gods and worship them. Flush with confidence, he challenged Israel's King Jehoash to battle and got absolutely crushed. Ended up assassinated by his own people.
