Hakkoz

Hakkoz was the head of a priestly family in Israel whose members were excluded from serving as priests after the return from Babylonian exile because they could not verify their genealogical records. He appears in the genealogies of Ezra and Nehemiah as part of the restored community's effort to establish legitimate priestly lineage.
