Head of a priestly family — 1,017 returned from exile
Harim was the head of a priestly family whose descendants returned to Judah after the Babylonian exile. According to Ezra 2:39 and Nehemiah 7:42, 1,017 members of his family line made the journey back to the land. He also appears in Nehemiah 10:5 among the priests who sealed the covenant to follow God's law.
