Hashum

Head of a family whose 223 descendants returned from Babylonian exile to Judah, listed among the returning exiles in Ezra 2 and Nehemiah 7. A man named Hashum also stood beside Ezra during the public reading of the Law (Nehemiah 8:4) and signed the covenant of renewal (Nehemiah 10:18).
