Paul's host in Thessalonica — dragged before the city officials for harboring the apostle

When Paul preached in Thessalonica, a mob formed and went to Jason's house looking for Paul. When they couldn't find him, they dragged Jason before the authorities, accusing him of hosting men who were 'turning the world upside down' (Acts 17:5-9). Jason posted bail and was released. He appears again in Romans 16:21 as one of Paul's kinsmen.
