Head of a Temple servant family that returned from exile
Mehida was the ancestor of a family of Temple servants (Nethinim) who returned from Babylonian exile to Jerusalem under Zerubbabel. His descendants are listed among those who resumed their sacred duties at the Temple. He appears in the return-from-exile genealogies in Ezra 2 and Nehemiah 7.
