Isaiah sees God seated on a throne, surrounded by angels, and volunteers for a divine mission.
In a vision, Isaiah sees the Lord high and exalted, with seraphim calling out 'Holy, holy, holy.' Overwhelmed by his own unworthiness, a seraph touches his lips with a burning coal to purify him. When God asks 'Who shall I send?' Isaiah responds, 'Here I am. Send me.'
