On a mountaintop, Jesus is transformed — his face shining like the sun — as Moses and Elijah appear beside him.
Jesus takes Peter, James, and John up a high mountain. There, his appearance changes dramatically — his face shines like the sun and his clothes become dazzling white. Moses and Elijah appear and talk with him. A bright cloud covers them and God's voice says, 'This is my beloved Son. Listen to him.' The disciples fall facedown in terror.
Matthew
The Mountain, the Miracle, and the Mustard Seed
Jesus takes three disciples up a mountain and they see something they were never supposed to talk about. Back at the bottom, a father begs for his son's healing, the disciples fail spectacularly, and Jesus redefines what faith actually looks like.
Mark
Glory, Doubt, and the Upside-Down Kingdom
Jesus pulls back the curtain on who he really is, heals a boy no one else could help, and flips everything his disciples thought they knew about greatness. This chapter moves fast — and hits hard.
Luke
The Question That Changes Everything
