Jesus arrives four days after his friend's death, weeps at the tomb, then calls Lazarus back to life.
When Jesus' close friend Lazarus gets sick, his sisters Mary and Martha send word — but Jesus deliberately waits two days before going. By the time he arrives, Lazarus has been dead four days. Martha says, 'If you had been here, my brother wouldn't have died.' Jesus weeps. Then he stands at the tomb and commands, 'Lazarus, come out!' The dead man walks out, still wrapped in burial cloths.
