The same Aaronide Levitical city of Benjamin named "Almon" in Joshuas parallel list
BenjaminAlemeth was a Levitical city of Benjamin allotted to the priestly sons of Aaron in 1 Chronicles 6:60: "And out of the tribe of Benjamin; Geba with her suburbs, and Alemeth with her suburbs, and Anathoth with her suburbs." Joshua 21:18's parallel list of the same four Benjaminite Aaronide cities reads "Almon" instead — the two names refer to the same site, with "Alemeth" being the older or longer form preserved in the Chronicler's genealogy and "Almon" the contracted form used by Joshua. Alemeth also appears as a personal name in the Benjaminite genealogy (1 Chr 7:8, 8:36, 9:42), probably derived from the town that founded the clan. The site is identified with Khirbet Almit just northeast of Anathoth.
