Beth-pazzez

Beth-pazzez ("house of dispersion") was one of the sixteen cities of Issachar's tribal inheritance named in Joshua 19:21: "And Remeth, and En-gannim, and En-haddah, and Beth-pazzez." The town appears only in this single boundary catalog and is uncertain in location. It lay somewhere in the eastern Jezreel Valley between Beth-shean and Mount Tabor, in the rich agricultural plain that made Issachar the breadbasket of the northern tribes.
