A boundary point on the eastern frontier of Zebuluns tribal inheritance
GalileeEth-kazin ("hour of the judge" or "edge of the judge") was a boundary point on the eastern frontier of Zebulun's tribal inheritance named in Joshua 19:13: "From thence passeth on along on the east to Gittah-hepher, to Ittah-kazin." The KJV "Ittah-kazin" is the same site. The town marked the line dividing Zebulun from Issachar in lower Galilee, in the corridor commanding the routes from the Sea of Galilee down to the Jezreel Valley. The exact site is uncertain, but it lay somewhere in the foothills southwest of Mount Tabor.
