Rimmono

Rimmono appears once in Scripture in the parallel Levitical-city catalog of 1 Chronicles: "And to the sons of Merari were given by lot, throughout their families, out of the tribe of Reuben, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun, twelve cities. And the children of Israel gave to the Levites these cities... out of the tribe of Zebulun, Rimmono with her suburbs, Tabor with her suburbs" (1 Chronicles 6:63, 77). The parallel passage in Joshua 21:35 names the corresponding cities as Dimnah and Nahalal, reflecting either textual variants in the Levitical lists or alternate spellings (Hebrew daleth/resh letters easily confused).
